This project involves the transformation of two historic barns within a Grade II listed estate in Somerset into modern living spaces. Situated amidst ancient stone walls, these barn conversions seamlessly blend tradition with contemporary design. Strategically oriented towards the south, both buildings offer stunning views of the rolling hills and flood the interiors with natural light. The larger barn features double-height glazing and lofty ceilings, creating a spacious and dramatic living area. Despite embracing the natural surroundings, the northern facade maintains privacy with carefully curated openings. The design reflects a commitment to preserving the estate's historic charm while providing modern comforts for contemporary living.
