This project involves a one-bedroom flat in the heart of London undergoing a light refurbishment to optimize space and enhance functionality on a budget. The goal is to create a harmonious blend of Japanese and Scandinavian design aesthetics, known as "Japandi," to bring tranquility and simplicity to urban living.
One of the key features of this project is the increased storage space, achieved through clever design solutions that maximize every inch of the apartment. Additionally, we're exploring the possibility of opening and connecting the existing loft area to create a versatile workspace or potential guest bedroom, all without the need for planning permission or a full loft conversion.
In the bedroom area, we're focusing on optimizing space to create a serene and clutter-free environment conducive to rest and relaxation. Through thoughtful layout and design choices, we aim to strike the perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics.
